trying the blog this feature - don't quite get this yet, but I'm learning. We worked out a great routine tonight that I hope we'll be able to continue - as long as the Y lets us and if Adam is in town and able to get home by 5, so actually I guess it's not too realistic but we really enjoyed it tonight. When Adam got home, I left in minivan #1 at 5:15 to get to the Y for their 5:30 lap swim open time. Adam fed the girls dinner, and then got them suited up with their swim gear and bag I left and drove in minivan #2 to jump in the pool at 6. So I got 1/2 hour of lap swimming - yippee - that's more than I've had in a while. Then from 6-6:30 we all play in the shallow end with the girls. Like a mini lubsen private swim lesson (the Y swim lessons end at 6 so this works out well) Then around 6:20 I take shivering Jane in with me for a shower. Which she loves, she stands there getting all warm while I shower too and dress. (Note: I just got a warm shower in too - another accomplishment!) Adam sends Ella in about 5 minutes later and she showers while Adam gets his 1/2 hour of lapswim in. Meanwhile I'm getting the girls dried off and in their pajamas. Then we eventually patrol out to the pool deck and Adam jumps out and dries off for the ride home. Perfect, home just after 7 with the girls bathed and ready for bed and everyone got a good evening workout! See why I love this? Have I bored you yet? Well..let's see if I can get this to post. Goodnight all! LOL = lots of love from me.

Ella's first swimming lesson, she wanted to wear my cap. (She saw a big girl wearing on, and found mine and asked to put it on).

I'm not bored! I love it, especially the shivering Jane who loves the shower - so precious. Nothing you can write about at home would ever be boring to me. -jenny xxx
