more shoes

Ella is sitting next to me now on the couch, watching the Anne of Green Gables cartoon (who'd a thought) we've never seen it before. Jane's asleep, I'm trying out the wireless access in our den..Ella's got her new Dora pink swim shoes on, I'm hoping these will work for school shoes too since they're closed toed like sneakers and dry easily if wet and she can slip them on. She hasn't taken them off yet and for sitting on the couch with them on that's a good sign. In case you're unfamiliar, Eloise prefers flip-flops (aka flopper doppers) all the time, but that's not real popular with the school teachers, even though she can run jump and do just about anything that sneakers can for her. She's had practice since 2 years old effortlessly trotting around in them. So proud. :)
