Web album updated (see link in last entry) with the first and second floor framing. I also put out a bunch of December family shots. I tried uploading a video - but it's not really playing for me. Maybe it will work for you. It was a video of Eloise opening the baby to be born gift, that I wrapped after just finding out what we're having: it's a boy. We were all surprised and I know I still will be once he gets here this May. (which seems SO far away!)

New web album!

Due to the laborious and time consuming way of posting pictures on this blog, I have started using Picasa's web album. You can go to my web album site to view all our posted pictures easier and see them in slideshow or click through them in big images.

Read my comments, and add your own. You can also download any of our albums right to your computer if you have Picasa too. It's all free baby.

1st run -- the first stages of our house construction.........or demolition, I should say.

And we'll see if writing to the blog (which is designed to be more like a journal) will stand up to the web album.

Check it out. Thanks.

October we love

just being witches for fun, before school

Jumping back into the blog, with too many photos to post. But wanted to share some recent pics. Jane recently turned 3 with her new hair-do that she mostly did herself (to our surprise) We are all gearing up for the family carnival and Halloween tomorrow and Tues. We'll be the Gyspy family on the road but looking good. Eloise is thrilled to wear gold hoop earnings and lots of gold jewelry with her costume.

Also wanted to share an email my Mom wrote to the auntie's regarding life with these little lubsens. They get to see all and hear all now that we're their upstairs residents, while our Elliott Street home tries to rise again from the present dirt lot.

"Jane is our big three year old now, and she is so dear! The other day, Jane and I were just chatting. To something she asked , I had said "Okey dokey". Jane looked a bit confused and said "why you say 'okey dokey?" I said well, that means, yes, or fine, or I'm good with that. To which she thinks a short minute, then says - "ohhh, okey dokey." See Nana, I say okey dokey too...."

An Eloise story: the other day, I came home from work; I had on black pants, and a black top and a scarf. Eloise had been 'working' around the house (staying busy, where does she get that from?) anyway, she departed for upstairs, but came back shortly later and wordlessly resumed her busyness. It hit me she had changed clothes, to black culottes, a black top and a scarf. We were twins. I love that girl....

Dad and I are loving getting to see the girls every day."

-- according to Nana

Eloise sewed Jane a scarf for her birthday present.
Jane wore it well and Eloise was so proud of her first sewing creation.
