Easter hunts in review...

Several hunts for Easter eggs, and thankfully the season has passed. We're back to only eating chocolate after meal, not as our daily mid morning snack. But really, the girls loved every single egg hunt they got to participate in Easter week - be it at a playdate, a birthday party, an egg decorating party, playgroup, Plumosa Park, or just in our living room Easter morning.

Eloise ran out half naked, we got her to run back and get something on for Easter morning. She threw on this tank top and said as she noticed it was inside out - "ah mom, I don't care - just let me do what I want!" Like I was really going to battle this one. Right. I could care less. It was Eloise that cared, and her yell to me reassured herself, it's OK to wear the shirt inside out! (Hey it's a milestone when we get to an event without taking 30 minutes to get ready with accessories, bags and gloves, etc. ) Easter excitement prevailed.

Cheers to chocolate in the AM.

Skipping the social cheers, onto the difficult foil wrappers.
(After church egg hunt - hunt #7 and final)

I love your captions, those girls' personalities shine through in every photo.

I see you opted not to lead the girls on a hunt to find their baskets in either the dryer or stove. (I recall the number of places our baskets could be hidden was pretty limited...) I suppose you can do that when they're older and they can then truly appreciate the genius of rhyming lines like "you won't have to look far/go right to the backyard!"

Love you guys, Happy belated Easter!

Love you too Auntie Molly, thanks for checking the blog! And yes...we did do the clues to find the Easter baskets, ryhmes and all. But I think it might go smoother when the girls are older. Eloise spotted Jane's under the dining table right away and we had to hold her down - literally, Adam on top until Jane got a chance to read her clues with me and get her basket (that as I suspected was not hidden well enough) :) Can't wait to see you this summer!
